Employee Assistance Program

Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) are to help employees deal with personal problems that may adversely affect their work performance, health, and well-being. EAPs usually include services such as assessment, short-term counseling and referral services for employees and their family members.

Critical Illness

Critical illness insurance covers an employee for specific illnesses listed in the insurance policy, for example cancer or heart disease. Should the employee be diagnosed with one of the critical illnesses, the insured would typically receive a lump sum cash payment.

Healthcare Spending Accounts (HCSA)

Healthcare Spending Accounts are employer funded spending accounts designed for use by plan members for payment for medical expenses. This can be provided on its own or in combination with a benefit plan.

Medical Reimbursemnt Plans (MRP)

A medical reimbursement plan is a plan where an employer reimburses an employee for uninsured health expenses incurred by the employee or his dependents. This can be provided directly from the employer or through an insurance company.

Weekly Accident Insurance

Weekly Accident insurance provides coverage for employees who are unable to work for a short period of time due to an accident while at work.
